Questions schools ask us
How much does Nexxtlearn cost?
Schools with up to 20 pupils use Nexxtlearn free. Bigger schools pay per pupil per term – ₦1,000 for 21–200 pupils, ₦800 for 201–600 pupils, ₦600 for 601+ pupils – with 10% off when you pay for the whole session. Every plan includes every feature, and paid plans start with a 30-day free trial.
What counts as a pupil?
Pupils on roll – not graduated, withdrawn or left. You are billed for the pupils you have that term, so a smaller class means a smaller bill.
Are SMS and WhatsApp messages included?
Email is included. SMS and WhatsApp messages are sent through your own provider account and paid at the provider's rates, so you only pay for what you send.
Is it suitable for my kind of school?
Yes – nursery, primary, secondary or all three. When you sign up we set up the usual classes for your kind of school, and you can rename, add or remove them.
Does my school get its own web address?
Yes. Your school gets its own address, like yourschool.nexxtlearn.com, where your staff, parents and pupils sign in. Your data is kept apart from every other school's.
Can we design our own report card?
Yes. Drag and drop blocks – school header and logo, student details and photo, scores, comments, signatures – choose the columns and their names, and download every pupil's result as PDF. Cumulative three-term results are included.
Can parents pay fees online?
Yes. Parents pay online with Paystack from the portal or a payment link, and the payment is receipted and posted to the pupil's account automatically.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Nexxtlearn runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones. There is nothing to install and updates arrive by themselves.
Is our data safe?
Every user signs in to your school's own address, sees only what their role allows, and every change is recorded in an audit trail – who changed what, and when.
Can we bring our existing records?
Yes. Students, staff, subjects and scores can be uploaded from spreadsheets, and we help you through it during onboarding.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is lost. Agree a plan with us and carry on exactly where you are; your records, settings and results stay as they are.
